We are seeking an experienced Linux Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience managing Linux operating systems in both on-cloud and on-premises environments. You will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing Linux systems, ensuring their security, performance, and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Managing and maintaining Linux operating systems, including installation, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Developing and maintaining scripts for automation and efficiency.
- Performing regular system updates, upgrades, and patches to ensure security and stability.
- Implementing and managing data backup and restoration processes for Linux servers.
- Managing PostgreSQL databases, including regular backups and restoration procedures.
- Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues proactively.
- Collaborating with the IT team to support infrastructure and application deployments.
- Documenting system configurations, procedures, and policies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Linux Administrator.
- Strong proficiency in managing Linux OS (Ubuntu, RHEL, or similar).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and on-premises environments.
- Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages.
- Hands-on experience with system backups, restores, and disaster recovery planning.
- Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL database management, including backup and restore procedures.
- Familiarity with system updates, upgrades, and patch management.
- Good understanding of network fundamentals and security best practices.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
